I delight in weakness, hardships and difficulties, for when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Cor. 12:10

We rest midway between hope and despair, perched on the fulcrum of struggle. Most of our days are spent near the middle, but each of us will visit despair, with its pain and sorrow, and long for hope with its joy and happiness. As we move along the way out of darkness we will be changed by the journey; perhaps as we wished, perhaps not; but if we work through the struggle we will become stronger as Paul suggests. We are helped by our faith in a loving God, and by the faith of others as they recognize our need and offer consolation to us.
