Love and Respect ~ Led by Reese and Sharon Roberts in Room #241
This 8 week DVD/discussion series will focus on enhancing a marriage or relationship. It gives examples and Biblical references that are both meaningful and practical. The information will change the way couples talk to each other and treat each other. NOTE: this class will begin at 6:15pm.
Advent ~ Led by Sweetie Francis in Room #226
This clas will reference marterial from the book Call Him God’s Son and The Thoughtful Christian series “From Longing to Receiving.” We will also be reflecting on the Old Testament scriptures on the coming of the Messiah and the hope in those passages.
Angels ~ Led by Kay Hein in Room #224
Recent polls indicate that almost three out of four adults and teenage Americans believe in angels. But do we really understand who and what these celestial being are and the role they play in our Christian beliefs and Christian walk? There are 66 books in the Bible and 36 talk about angels in detail. Every new testament writer confirms their existence. In this 5 week study we will discuss such topics as what the Bible says about when they were created, how many, what kinds, who are angels, what do they look like, who are the dark angels and whatever you want to know about angels but were afraid to ask.
Be Tween: A Class for Parents of Tweens (4th-6th graders) ~ Led by Sue McCaffray and Caroline McIntyre in Room #132
Be Tween seeks to offer support, inspiration, fellowship, and growth for older elementary children, parents, and the faith community. Eight sessions are designed to gather tweens (5th grade Sunday school) together for spiritual instruction, biblical training, and community building. This Pops class is eight sessions for parents of 4th-6th graders. The sessions correlate with the student curriculum and covers topics such as family, friends, technology, spiritual gifts, and serving others.
