The Truth Project ~ Led by Gail Shample
Developed by Dr. Del Tackett and Focus on the Family, the Truth Project is designed to build a systematic and comprehensive biblical framework by studying God’s blueprint for all life. Our desire is that we will be truly transformed as our minds and hearts are renewed and that we will be equipped to resist conforming to the world. Please join us as we engage in this battle for truth and seek to develop a Biblical world view. This 13-week DVD series will challenge new believers, seasoned saints, and the un-churched– teenagers and adults! NOTE: this will be an hour and a half class, from 6:15 to 7:45pm. Rm. #226
Hebrews: Rewriting Christology for God’s Chosen People Led by Bob Bankhead
The author of Hebrews is the third great theologian of the New Testament. Paul, with the doctrine of the Theology of the Cross, established the fundamental Christology of God’s plan of salvation in the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus. John, the gospel writer, with the doctrine of the Incarnate Word of God, then added Incarnation as a fundamental tenet of belief in Jesus. Next, the author of Hebrews rewrote Christology acknowledging Jesus as the Great High Priest, addressed to the early Jewish Christians converted from Judaism. Rm. #224
