On April 26, 2012 SACPC volunteers will gather for dinner (5:45pm/POPS pricing) and then package meals from 6:30-8:30pm for Stop Hunger Now. The goal? 30,000 meals in two hours! We did it in September 2011 – bet we can do it again! Remember to bring a visor/ball cap to wear during food packaging.
Donations to Stop Hunger Now are Welcome!
(NO Childcare, but school children can participate)

About Stop Hunger Now
Stop Hunger Now’s meal packaging program provides much needed meals to the world’s hungry in a fun, hands-on volunteer opportunity for adults and children ages 8 and up. For over 10 + years, Stop Hunger Now, a Raleigh-based international hunger relief agency, has been perfecting its assembly process for combining rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables and a flavoring mix including 21 essential vitamins and minerals into small meal packets. The truck arrives at the packaging location, volunteers unload the meal ingredients, volunteers repackage the meal ingredients, volunteers load the meals into the truck and the Stop Hunger Now organization ships the meals to countries in need.
