Why I’m Taking Perspectives by Dana Harris

For the past few years I have been purposefully reviewing my relationship with God. It started with the Alpha Classes, supplemented by my Sunday School classes where we watched a video series about the art of giving and following our giving with our time and passion. That is when it finally hit me, I needed to be part of the mission trip to Malawi. The trips to our sister church in Malawi have opened my eyes and my heart. I am still figuring out what God’s purpose is for me, but I do know it is more than what I ever thought it would be. I believe that taking this Perspectives class will help me understand even more of God’s purpose for me in this world and not just in the “Wilmington ” that I live. The two classes are Tuesday nights (6:30 – 9:00 PM) and Wednesday mornings (9:00 – 11:30 AM) starting August 21 and 22. Half price for SACPC members. For more information contact David Vreeland (910-616-7677 dvreeland@ec.rr.com) or www.Perspectives.org/wilmington. Free child care Wednesday morning, contact Beth Eskew at betheskew@gmail.com for more information.
