POPS Kidz Alive!
Introducing our new K-5th grade Wednesday Program:
This 10-week, sign up only comprehensive program includes music (choir and bells/chimes), Bible time, and a family-style meal each Wednesday from 4:30-6:30 pm running from Sept. 5th to Nov. 14th.
POPS Kidz Alive! Schedule:
4:30 pm: 3rd-5th grade Celtic Choir and K-2nd grade Chimes
5:00 pm: 3d-5th grade Hand Bells and K-2nd grade Bible Time
5:30pm: K-2nd grade Praise Choir and 3rd-5th grade Bible Time
6:00 pm: Family Style Meal
We’ll have a silly theme each week and table decorations will correspond to that theme.
When children sign up for this program (Download your Registration for POP Kidz Here!), they must participate ALL parts of it—choir, bells, Bible, and the meal. The cost for the program is $30, which covers the cost of food. Registration is required by August 29th so that we can have the appropriate number of volunteers in place. Questions? Dear Parents,
It seems that I have caused some confusion about POPS regular schedule. While we are adding a new element to Wednesdays, POPS Kidz Alive!, we understand that there are parents who need a place for their K-5th graders to be while they take adult classes or assist with D-groups from 6:30-7:30 pm. Supervised, structured games/activities for K-5th grade will be offered from 6:30-7:30 pm on the lower level. Children do not need to register or be a part of POPS Kidz Alive! to participate in this program.
Also, In order to assist any parents who would like to help out with POPS Kidz Alive! but have pre-K children, nursery care will be available for volunteers’ children only during POPS Kidz Alive! Nursery for those attending POPS will be available as always.
I hope this additional information helps to clarify what will take place at SACPC on Wednesdays beginning on Sept. 5th. I think it is going to be a lot of fun!
