The children in the village of our partner church, Chuluchosema CCAP will continue having the life-changing opportunity to go to school in 2017. Hungry people suffering from a famine and food shortage in the village are being fed, at least for now:
Over $21,000 was raised by SACPC families and contributors from Little Chapel on the Boardwalk for the 2017 Malawi Education Fund which pays for schooling for students from primary school to college as well as for educational supplies. Ongoing contributions are welcome! We are changing children’s futures in one of the poorest nations on Earth.
The Malawi Committee voted to send all remaining Malawi hunger relief funds from SACPC to help alleviate food shortages resulting from a meager harvest. Maize flour was distributed last week to the villagers through the Chuluchosema church. We continue to pray for a better harvest this year (the rainy season has had a promising start) and for resources to help us replenish our relief fund.
God is good….ALL THE TIME!
