Sing a new song unto Him!
from Psalm 33

Sojourners Monthly Meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of each month.  We enjoy a program or trip followed by lunch.  Each of these events are open to everyone!   Programs to be offered this spring include include one on income tax changes for 2010, a day trip to the main Library to investigate and learn about the many services it offers, and a presentation by Dr. Marsha Fretwell of a new NC State program (MOST) on health directives.  We also hope to have Chris Fonvielle return to follow his previous exciting Civil War presentation with a follow up lecture, and are considering a major-league sports broadcaster to thrill us with tidbits about the star players.   Call the Church Office at 763-9693 to learn more and to make your reservation.  We hope to see many of you soon!

Sojourners Program for Thursday, April 15th!!!

You will be astonished at the range of services offered by our NH County Library!  Even those who frequent it will find new information about business, E-resources, grant offers, legal services and college financing.  You can read world-wide newspapers or study a foreign language, listen to music, use the computer room, bring your youngsters to the children’s room, find your heritage, or get started on a new job!  A local gem to be treasured and loved, it awaits us for a memorable experience.   We will leave church at 10:00am and go by bus to the main branch Library.  Dorothy Hodder, Librarian, will tell us more about how we can use this wonder-filled resource, and answer our questions. Having filled our minds, we will return to the church for lunch in the dining room; still a bargain at $5.

Call the Church Office at 762-9693 to reserve a spot for yourself and friends.  Parents might wish to go and find out about the homework tutoring program!
