Steve graduated from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (PCUSA) with a M. Div. in 1975. Before arriving at SACPC in June of 1998, Steve served churches in Sharon, PA, Pittsburgh, PA, and Waterloo, IA. He and his wife Katherine (Kay) have been married for 37 years and they have 3 children: Jennifer & her husband Chris live in Chicago, Will and his wife Alethea live in Pittsburgh where Will works for Met Life and Thea is in her second year of residency at the UPMC. Their youngest son Christopher was just recently married Olivia McCain. They live in Chicago. Chris works for the National Scouting Association and Olivia works for Holly Hunt. Steve enjoys golf, bridge, and the “Steelers”. Kay teaches 5th grade at Cape Fear Academy and they both love it when their three adorable grandchildren come to visit them from Chicago.
