Caregiving Team Openings

The Caregivng Committee is prayerfully considering those in our congregation with gifts and talents in caring for others to serve on one of our Caregiving Teams. We currently have four openings. Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary Spring Fling Luncheon

Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Pine Valley United Methodist Church, 3788 Shipyard Blvd. All proceeds from ticket sales, sponsors, craft sale, and silent auction will support the Salvation Army Center of Hope (formerly called the Homeless Shelter). Deacon Flower Delivery

During Lent officers of the church have shared communion with some of our homebound members and on Palm Sunday the deacons will begin to distribute spring flowers to them. An Opportunity to Serve

Our church has an opportunity to host the temporarily homeless families of Family Promise of Lower Cape Fear/ Wilmington Interfaith Hospitality Network (WIHN) the week of March 27 – April 3 at the Sisson house on our church’s campus. Children Caring for Children

The m&m Group (music and mission) for children ages grades K– 5 made “encouragement T-shirts” for the children who are served at the Carousel Center.
