What to Expect

Visiting from out of town? New to the area?
We offer two worship services on Easter Sunday in our Sanctuary, and a church-wide fellowship event on our 15th St. Lawn.

9:00 am Contemporary Worship

Our Contemporary Worship Team will lead worship in the Sanctuary. This service is typically 60 mins. in length. Communion will be served. Nursery is available.

10:00 am Fellowship on the Lawn

Located on our 15th St. lawn we'll have finger foods and a flower cross to help decorate. All are welcome to bring fresh-cut flowers to add to the cross--though it is not required. There is no Sunday School on Easter. This is a rain-or-shine event. The rain location this year is in Brown Hall.

11:00 am Traditional Worship

Our traditional worship service is in the sanctuary and will feature the adult choir, handbells, trumpets, and special soloists. This service is typically 60 mins. in length. Communion will be served. Nursery is available.

Our address is:

SACPC Kids

Easter Sunday Egg Hunt

Children are invited to search for Easter Eggs during our Fellowship Time between services on Easter Sunday, April 20th! Infants through 5th Grade--and their parents--are encouraged to gather on the 15th St. sidewalk to meet with Lynn Warner for further instructions.

No need to bring an Easter basket, we will provide bags. The egg hunt will only begin after the early service congregation has fully left the Sanctuary. Come, join the fun!
A nursery is available during all worship services for infants and toddlers and is located in the preschool hallway.

Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged in each of our worship services. Worship bags are located in the Narthex and contain quiet activities for school-aged children. For our preschool families, we also provide a special PRAYGROUND in our Chapel area equipped with extra floor space and seating for parents to worship comfortably while their children play quietly.  This area includes picture books and play bins with quiet, fidget-friendly toys.

A leader like one who serves.
Join us in the Sanctuary on Maundy Thursday as we honor and remember the importance of the Last Supper. Communion will be served with special music from our Adult Choir.

Good Friday  |  April 18, 2025

7 pm Contemporary
We’re still caught up in fleeing, freezing, fretting, and fearing.
This will be a Tenebrae worship service with music led by our Contemporary Worship Team. Tenebrae means "darkness" in Latin. Join us for this somber reflection on Christ's suffering, death, and burial through scripture readings, music, and the gradual extinguishing of candles.

Lent Resources & Happenings

Our theme for Lent is "everything [in] between." It seems that we are becoming increasingly divided as a people and often within ourselves. Join us as we make sense of the polarities in our lives with more faith, intention, and openness to be transformed.  Each week, we will use the Gospel of Luke to wrestle with concepts often considered opposites, like “rest & growth" or “grief & hope."  We might find that God is present in between these extremes.

We also offer a weekly SermonShapers Bible study every Wednesday at 6:30 pm where we gather to help "shape"  the coming week's sermon text with Rev. Harrington. Daily online devotionals are also available.

Inspiring one another to love Jesus and
remain Faithfully Present in our community.
