Weekly Updates for September 3, 2023
14th Sunday after Pentecost
This Sunday
"Holy Ground & Holy Living"
Rev. Katherine B. Harrington
In Exodus 3: 1-15, Moses encounters God in a burning bush on what becomes holy ground at Mt. Sinai. Most of us have never seen an unconsumed burning bush--or if we have, would anyone believe us? Yet, chances are we've all tread on holy ground and experienced Divine encounters. In Romans 12:9-21, Paul shows us how to recalibrate our senses to embrace God's presence within one another and in the outside world. When we accept these practices as habits, we begin to recognize the holy all around us. See you Sunday!

Dear SACPC family:
Words can't begin to express my gratitude for all the love and support I've received during my illness. The prayers and outreach have been overwhelming and have definitely helped speed the healing.
With love and appreciation,
Jeff Flynn

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
