Weekly Updates for Sept. 5 - 12, 2023
15th Sunday after Pentecost
This Sunday
"Community Matters: Conflict Resolution"
Rev. Katherine B. Harrington
"For where two or three are gathered..." This is the promise Jesus gave us--when we gather in Christ's name, he is present among us. Simple, right? Yet, oftentimes, when we gather we bring our diverse thoughts and different backgrounds. Conflicts can quickly arise. What does Jesus tell us to do when we experience conflict in the community? Join us for worship as we explore the challenge Jesus gives us in Matthew 18:15-20. See you Sunday!

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
